Wow. I guess what they say is true - the bigger the con, the bigger the depression afterwards. I have to admit AC was the biggest con I've been to since CF09, way back in 1997. But then again, this one hurt worse for a few reasons...

1. I flew back practically alone. For CF09, I drove back at least half way with my freinds Todd Riverden and Bookshire.

2. A large feeling of guilt I did not have at CF09.

One of my freinds, and for the sake of protecting names, let's call him "Carl", tried out a brand new fursuit at AC. Unfortunately, he was used to his old suit, which was a partial suit. He overheated badly Thursday night. Saturday, he came down with a bad case of food poisoning (blamed on the Steel City Diner), but because he didn't want to regret missing out, he went through the Fursuit Parade. Right at the end, he threw up and was overheated again. The medics from the Security Staff aided him until EMS arrived. They later released him so he could rest in his room.

Another of my freinds, "Lenny", had a particularly difficult time. Friday morning, he got a call from his boss at the grocery store he works at. In a corporate knee-jerk reaction, he was fired because a coworker he trained accidentally killed himself and forced the store to close for several hours after mixing bleach and ammonia in the bathroom (made toxic gas). Sunday, while he was in the Dealer's Room with two other freinds, and while I was with another freind, he tried to spiritually connect with his freinds, but got hit with some major defence or feedback. The experience made him throw up and have an emotional breakdown. I feel greatly responsible for this because I wasn't with him when this happened.

Well, the plane ride back was difficult, but after a nice long nap between Pittsburgh and Dallas, I felt better. Plus I had two perks: I watched the E.S. Productions Animation Show (Amy in the Park and so on) and the plane from Dallas to El Paso was WiFi enabled!

I want to appoligize to everyone I upset in my previous journal. I also want to thank everyone who gave me support. That's all I have right now.
